Based very loosely on The Cherry Orchard.
Poetry readings, scrambling for order and meaning, tequila shots, and a Guns n' Roses dance party mix with audience confessions of love and loss. (v2.0) is a communal event, a tongue-in-cheek sacrifice, an ode to the piles of sh*t my father left in his wake, a middle finger to the bank that loomed over us as we sorted through said sh*t, and an apology to whomever bought our home at auction. Smattered with a layer of Chekhov. Because why not.
Drop It (v2.0) was somewhat successful in Scotland and extremely successful in rooftop performances all over NYC. It's currently undergoing a major facelift for remount at bars across the USA.
Developed in part thanks to a residency at Smoke Farm with Morgan Rose, who took all of my antics and said "The Cherry Orchard. That's where you should pull your structure."
Presented at Green Stage, Edinburgh and the NYC Rooftop Series 2012
